All the Brazilian, None of the Pain
It’s all Latin jazz all the time from here on out as far as I’m concerned. We saw Eliane Elias on Saturday night and I went straight home and downloaded her most recent album from iTunes. She was gorgeous and every inch the diva in her live performance, and the piano playing and singing was superb as far as I was concerned. I’m not sure the album can live up to the concert (what album can?), but I’m still enjoying playing “Doralice” over and over again.--Melanie
