Blook Who’s Publishing Now
Lulu Publishing, the fastest growing print-on-demand publisher has announced their first ever Lulu Blooker Prize for the best book based on a blog. The short list has been produced and winners will be announced on April 3.In case you haven’t heard of print on demand, it’s a publishing concept whereby users upload their content and produce books in only single copies as needed. A number of sites provide the service. Unfortunately POD publications seem to carry the stigma (whether deserved or not) of being vanity publications, too expensive or poorly edited.
