G'mar Chatima Tova
Last December my husband and I decided to join a temple. Thus, this is the first Yom Kippur we've not exactly celebrated, more like observed. I am in hour 16 of a 25 hour fast. I still have to feed the kids and I almost wept smelling the leftover spaghetti and meatballs reheating in the microwave. Even worse then food is the lack of water and...coffee! To give that some perspective for you; I drink a cup of strong coffee and at least six shots of espresso every day. Needless to say, I've already succumbed to the siren call of caffeine. I decided I would better be able to atone without a raging headache.
Wish me luck for the rest of the day.

Total Recall

Yes. I need to eliminate my secret vice: I'm a shameless pop princess, and I listen to my iPod with the kids in the car. Their memories are just getting too darn good.

Three Classes - One Room Parent - Me
I've been a bit AWOL and lax at blogging lately. I blame it on the beginning of school. I signed up to be a room mom for my son's class and my daughter's kindergarten and kindergarten enrichment class. I never dreamed I would be selected for all three. So I'm sure I'll be super busy for the beginning of this month anyway until I can delegate some of this stuff out! Until then I'll use this new website I found called Oh, Don't Forget. You just put in your cell number a message and the date and time you want it to come up on your (or spouses) phone. Now, if I can just remember what it was I didn't want to forget...
